Nithin (Shariq Hassan), a good-for-nothing son of a popular star and Shiva (GV Prakash), a smart and ambitious student, are plus two classmates. Other students see them as arch-rivals due to their frequent altercations in front of everyone. When a mysterious person stabs Nithin with a pencil to death, Shiva becomes the obvious suspect. How Shiva, with the help of his love interest Maya (Sri Divya), a voracious reader of crime novels, disentangles himself from the murder forms the story.
