Jayavel (Prabhu) and Keerthy Vasan (Thennavan) are close friends from childhood. However, they are made to bitterly confront each other because of the long-standing family feud in Sivaganga. Jayavel and Keerthy devise a plan to get their children married to each other to put an end to the family feud. However, Jayavel's son Siva (Aari) and Keerthy Vasan's daughter Abhirami (Maya) detest the sight of each other. How they realize their true feelings for each other forms the story.
