Sakthi aka Pattas (Dhanush) is a petty thief who lives in a slum and engages in carefree verbal banter with his neighbor Sadhana (Mehreen Pirzada). When Sakthi stumbles upon Kanyakumari (Sneha), the former comes to know about his ancestral roots and his father's illustrious legacy. How Kanyakumari avenges the death of her husband Thiraviyam (played by Dhanush again) with the help of Sakthi forms the plot.
