Annamalai (Prabhu), who owns a Malaysia-based restaurant, is an affectionate dad. He takes extreme care with his happy-go-lucky son Karthik (Kalidas), a college student who falls in love with his college mate Pavithra (Ashna Zaveri). However, their love creates a tussle between the father and son. That's when their family friend Bhuvanendran (Y Gee Mahendra) introduces them to a spiritual person (Kamal Haasan), who helps Annamalai and Karthik sort out their differences.
